Spring in Croatia means hard work and so far we have never actually written anything about it. Now it is. We are still here until May 12 (2018) and I will try to give an update on the work these days. Who knows, we might find interested parties who would also like to help make the project summer ready.
Mowing
Spring mainly means: mowing the lawn. But that means first of all repairing and refurbishing the tractor, the trimmers (edge mowers), the petrol push mower and the brushcutter. And that means every year being the first to do a round of shopping to get the parts together. Similarly this year. Spark plugs, gasoline, two-stroke oil, cutting line, tractor kit kit and a few other things. Of course it is also important to find sufficient help and that is very disappointing this year. This has to do with the exodus of young people. Young people leave this region because the region itself does not offer paid work.
After two days we mowed the grass around the house and I was able to mow the football field and around the log cabins with the pull. Remains everything around sanitary building, driveways, parking lot, and the rest of the 2 hectares of land.
